Hi,

I am sitting on the runway. We have arrived an hour late. Our gate is occupied and will be for another 20 minutes.

It is unforgivable incompetence that you can not plan well so that once you know when a flight will actually arrive you can't arrange a gate.

It is stupidity beyond belief; it is malcompetence beyond measure; it is awesomely idiotic that you guys take an already late flight and further delay it like this.

This rates even worse than the fact when we got to Toronto yesterday they changed our gate but could move the jet bridge because the gate agent was at the old gate.

Please don't send an apology. Please send a detailed explanation -- detailed -- of what led to this. Do a root cause analysis, execute the Toyota "five why's", do anything but tell me and my blog reader how in Heaven's name you can screw something up this badly. Inquiring and angry minds want to know.
